Bird Electric considers health and safety the most important function of every project. Our safety team consists of a VP of HSE (Health, Environment and Safety), Directors of Safety, HSE Manager, Safety Officers, and Safety Administrators, and project-specific safety personnel to oversee all safety-related aspects of the company.
Safety does not begin when we mobilize to the project site; it begins upon award of the contract. Bird Electric takes pride in the safe work environment we have created for our employees.
All employees, from leadership to field technicians are responsible for maintaining this safe work environment, their own safety, and the safety of everyone else on the project. Bird Electric adheres to the “Stop Work Authority” philosophy, empowering all workers with the responsibility and obligation to stop work when perceiving an unsafe condition or behavior.
